The Fjodor Foundation

What is Fjodor / How does Fjodor work

Fjodor means ‘arrow’in Russian. With that this foundation indicates that she wants to help with realising
the results of the research in the applied astrosophy, and towards the functionings of the world word which speaks itself out on the earth through stars and planets.
The somewhat loaded and slightly worn out term 'world word' needs some explanation. Here it is meant in the sense of the opening words of John’s gospel; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word has become flesh”, and this in the most litteral sense. Being that the earth and people have been condensed from the formative forces of star and planet spheres, which in their forms and movements make the archetypal alfabeth; the star constellations make the forming consonant sounds, the planet movements in their spheres the vowels, which are coloured by the soul. In nature, in phenomena, minerals, plants and animals have these characters been objectified in form and functioning; in people they meet as a grandiose composition, and it is our task by means of our spirit to recognise these word workings, to raise these to the consciousness, and wherever possible to help to realise these in and around us. We namely are not finished, and nature neither. The one which preceded us in this completing process is Christus, who already has stood up as the that as Son of Man. In the gospel of John it is called for this reason that the "Word has lived amongst us"; He has already made operative within Himself these creating Word forces, originating from the stars and planet spheres.

Fjodor is also the protagonist from the one of the music theatre pieces of Nicolaas de Jong, the initiator to this method of research. This protagonist has to address his co-occupiers of an institution, which each in a specific direction have become unilateral, in their being in such a manner, that they can learn to apply their decay as a strength for development to the spirit. To this end he builds for each a specific music instrument that awakens and approaches their being-own (Word)sound. He knows to transform the decayed circumstances for himself because he must go through a death process, which has been started by the being which wants the human individuality to disintegrate (Play 'Through the Gate' from the fourtych 'Tales around the Tree of Life', see the list of Rune book with publications).
The Fjodor Foundation wants put effort in realising the Word forces and its elaborations in preparation and ultimate concretising, and this by means of the astrosophy; the arrow on the way to its aim.
With this initiative it is aimed at to develop further and make public to make the methods, with which one by means of the perception of form, music and movement can learn to experience the workings of the life world, that of the soul and of the spirit, so that those who practise these, through the own activity can provide an access to those worlds.
Connected to this at the one side is an impulse to social term for others, therefore a social impulse. On the other side an impulse to be developed for the renewal of the arts and sciences with the aim to investigate the workings of the Word all through the life, soul and spirit, and also consequently to apply these by means of new insights and (moral) techniques which can do right to man as being a developing being on a developing earth.
To be able however to bring about a social impulse, open cooperation bonds are being developed, within which can arise such an environment that there can be grounded a social bed and the possibility for realising everybody's initiatives and the spiritual strivings connected to these. This is realised in an organic sevenfolded branched organisational structure. This social-organisational impulse wants to organise the economic, social and spiritual life from underneath in the society by stimulating cooperation bonds.

Concerning the impulse to the renewal of arts and sciences

To bring about the connection with the worlds of live, of the soul and of the spirit, one must cultivate for oneself alertness in the feeling to this end and wake up and learn to develop the slumbering soul organs that hide in every human. Particularly aimed artistic occupations are appropriate for that purpose, because artistic doing and linking oneself dearly with the phenomena in this way, awakens in man unsuspected refinements of the senses as perception agencies, and at the same time with that the possibilities for developing creative-moral skills. These latter reach especially expression in the intercourse with each other, out of which can be tried to raise the social to an art.
With that they complete the methods of science practice and direct these towards higher areas then purely the physical world of revelation. These artistic methods for self-development complete the spiritual science as it has been developed within the anthroposophy. The latter is concentrated up to present mostly in the imaginative field, the methods meant here help to develop the inspirative and the intuitive consciousness. With inspiratively experiencing consciousness one can learn to live in and along consciously with process developments in and around oneself, and next also learn to conduct these. With the intuitive consciousness one can learn to recognise the gestation possibilities and aims in germ in each phenomenon, and learn to act out of these. (The three called consciousness levels are to be developed moreover in daily living; however through coming here aimed artistically to consciousness, one can accelerate this development).

Since man and the world have been created from the inworkings of the World word which seizes thruogh the stars and planet spheres, the context of this renewing impulse to research is originating from renewed astronomy. Astronomy was the very first form of science. In this renewed astronomy, called astrosophy, the insights of contemporary astronomy are enriched with the insights and experiences nature, people and world which descend from the above the physical outgoing worlds of live, the soul and the spirit; with that in a significant manner the connection is also laid with astrology, that initially has gone its own way, and in which the the workings of will and of becoming (the destiny, that finds its precipitationuntil in the physical organisation) in man and the world can be recognised and indicated.
This astrosophy, developed from the tools of the contemporary spiritual science, the anthroposophy, can be deepened through experiencing the life processes, when these are being converted into music. It then becomes astrophony, in which the inspirative consciousness in processes can be developed.
When this astrosophy is applied on gestation force, the willing gesture that lay as a base to each every phenomenon, she may become to astrognomy; that offers possibilities for the development of the intuitive
consciousness.
The insights of the renewed astronomy can be applied on every area in art and science, through which these from spirit insight and spiritual acting been based on this, can learn to discover the development in each phenomenon and living beingand also activate this by stimulating gestation of it (see for that purpose the Rune book 'Science Otherwise'). Since one can connect oneself intensively by means of artistic participating and hence living oneself into the phenomena and and fields to be researched, one gets mostly on account of that the morality reflected directly in the developments.
Concerning art: by applying the insights of new astronomy in their developments in people and the world, one can try to come to an objectivation of the artistic creations, in which the workings of life, soul and spirit can reveal themselves, and through which as an artist one can start to cooperate in the development of what wants to germinate upon the earth. For that matter the artistic methodology has in it that one learns to do creative from its own soul substance, which guarantees the individual character; only after having done one can examine in a thinking way what one has done and which ways one has followed; from hence new steps of research and development can be taken. Such a manner of art practise can be indicated as objective art.
From the growth germs that one can observe whithin beings and things, originated from astrognomy, one can develop new forms of technique, which can bring about the good from the things. These forms of technique therefore can be indicated as moral technique.

Fjodor strives for the realisation of a renewing high school which stands in the middle of society, and which feeds itself and inspires it. These will exist of the following three components:

- Science that directs itself through schooling of the thinking upon the spirit and thus has fertilised itself to become to imagination or the picture consciousness (spiritual science)
- Objective art which investigates the workings in people, nature and the cosmos and develops these in artistic creations. These offer possibilities to experience the inner guidance in processes and also apply these, and thus creates the possibilities for inspiratieve skills
- Moral technique which tries to realise the good that as a germ for development hides in phenomena and beings. Therefore such a technique helps with developing clear wimming, the intuitive consciousness.

These three departments are mutually closely interwoven, so that they can fertilise each other.

Concerning the social pulse

Fjodor cooperates with several organisations and initiatives in the Netherlands and foreign countries. In Amsterdam there were the Bruisvat house chamber college, where up to in 2003 regularly meetings, readings and courses were kept. Fjodor has originated with the Orifiël institute for social-organisational sciences from a young people platform in Amsterdam, of from which meetings were organised (called the ‘dynamic Tuesday’). From Fjodor in association with this young people platform courses were organised which have an artistic and acting character. The magazine 'Bruisvat for culture renewal' has been the speaking tube over a longer time for this associative cooperation bond. Through internal disputes the cooperation with the Orifiël institute has been concluded.
Moreover with fFjoder are associated a skala of initiatives and production entities on mentally, culturally and economical areas. To be called here the education centre 'the Change' and the Centre for Culture Renewal at Almen, Coaching Hardlane at Heerhugowaard, the 'Rune workshop' in Bergen with books, pictures, courses, instruments and music theatre, the foundation 'Groundwork' at Schagen, and several individually operative artists and scientists. Abroad can be mentioned Harpa in Alverco, Portugal, Wat-art in Vienna, Austria, the Virtual Gallery and Michael Nagel in Germany, and Regula Berger in Switzerland.
The courses besides in the called house chamber college, are being given in the child nursery Bartele II in Amsterdam, in Almen (close to Zutphen), in Arnhem and in Bergen. To give more a practical fixed foot at the ground to the concretisation of the methods in courses and meetings, there is being strived for a central work- and course space in the neighbourhood of Zutphen, consisting of one or more spaces. This is organised in the Centre for Culture renewal (CVC), . in which meeting evenings can find place, yes or no with a topic, where courses, congresses and presentations can be given, depending the question in charge; where initiatives can sound and are stimulated if possibly and in projects can get shape. Important here is the character of meeting and exchange. Here everybody's inner experiences can sound, without judgement of the person or his context. For the projects it is strived for workshops and working spaces, as well as to the recruitment of funds to free research workers from economic pressure.

Concerning the social-organisational impulse

In order to give a chance to the activities associated to Fjodor mentioned, of which Fjodor is the co-impulsator, as well as those individual impulses of several people, over 7 years an open cooperation bond has been formed to which a sevenfolded organisation laid at its basis. Herein the participating people have learned to recognise each other's impulses, and when they could or wanted to be be carried by each other, this could be tried from the cooperation bond to realise everybody's initiatives. This asks an open attitude towards one another, and an attitude of devotion, the responsibility to each other's being and destiny. There has arisen a free division of tasks within the bond of cooperation, in which everyone could develop his initiatives, without that the own explored activities (in work, institute or foundation) found hindrance through these - the open character remained guaranteed as a result. This has functioned some time, but by distrusting and incomprehension of some participants, this has been recently concluded. What says unfortunately more concerning the people than concerning the open organisation structure in seven as such.

This sevenfolded organisational structure is being founded upon observations of the articulations within man (his life processes) and within human organisations, such as companies, and results from astrosophy. It namely concerns here the possibility which is being offered to a higher (archangel) being that is enabled to embody within that organisation and conduct it. Through this the partyicipants can get conscious their own impulses and work these out, examinating and join the own knowledge and insights with one another, through which the wisdom that descends from the spiritual world (Mother Sophia) can realign itself around the individual and joined insights that thus is present in each participant.
This organic sevenfoldedness consists of:
- A person or a group of which practises investigation; this puts up questions and start to work on possible solutions or applications which are necessary to be able to answer its questions (so do-research, in accordance with the higher steps of phenomenology, Goethean science). In a company this is called the research department (Saturn division).
- A person of a group that thinks out lines between what comes up as results from investigations, and for what the cooperation bond is being asked from the outside or from the inside as questions and initiatives. In consideration suggestions are being passed, upon which base the the policy meeting, existing of representatives of all sections, can determine the direction for the organisation. In a company this is being called the executive board; within the cooperation bond however no direct decision-making power to them has been intended for. Besides the coordination this division takes care of education or schooling, if of application (Jupiter section).
- A person or a group which carries out initiatives (of the policy body), of itself, and besides who tries to clear and carry out the initiatives of others, or looks for the support and ways to go for these. In a company this is being called the management encadrement. Here however they carry out also initiatives which are not only supplied by means of the policy body, but by individuals throughout the organisation. They create to this the space needed (Mars division).
- A person or a group that takes care of the inner communication between the other organic sections, and that through this creates a bed within which the whole cooperation group can function well. In a company this is called the administration and the secretariat; here the functions of meeting platforms and artistic contribute come to it; these last make the inner development between participants and with people coming from outside possible (Venus division).
- A person or a group which maintains the contacts with people, groups or organisations outside of the cooperation bond; in material respect it concerns buy and sale of goods, services, the making of publicity; at the interhuman level the laying of links and the maintenances of networks, associations (Mercury division).
- A person or a group people and representatives of a company or production entity which is active within the cooperation bond, and that takes care for an economic foot, or has been embedded into the production. This can be a (one man) company, employee, but also a family or bond of living together (living group), while these have a foot in economics directly. Within a company this is being called the division of production (moon division).
- A policy body meets regularly; herein meet one or more representatives of all departments. Here may sound the different occupations, and if that is necessary, lines of action are stipulated. Each division has a certain autonomity, for which it has got a certain mandate; however in matter which contracts the whole group, a broad basis of approval must be, if something has to succeed. Within the policy body there is complete equanimity amongst the divisions represented (Sun’s organ). The chairman and secretary etc. change each time.

The working cooperative is completely open; each representative jumps in where he or she thinks necessary, and then a period agreed in avance binds himself to that task. Moreover is possible that he fulfils certain work within other sections, as well as other work cooperations. Within the cooperation bond however he is responsible for the task he has taken up. The education methods have been put up to get this organic structure clear, in itself as well as in the surroundings.

From this sevenlimbed cooperation bond arise three concentric rings of people and organisations. An outer ring exists of companies, production entities, families and living groups which are being interconnected through the working cooperative. Entirely within lay the sections which conduct investigation and those which suggest thinking lines of policy (these however have not been isolated and have not been locked up, but can function only in and from production, in accordance with the acting character of the research, and those who maintain a feeling with associations from within and without). There is a ring in the middle of meeting platforms, where initiatives can sound, en where encounters can take place.
As follows:

Inner circle:
* Research
* Thinking tank, instruction

Middle circle:
*Platform for initiatives (executive organ)
*Inner environment and meeting; secretarial point of appeal * policy body

Outside circle:
*Network of contacts with the outside; buying and selling
*Entities of production, living and working, network van production unities, companies.

Of several groups of work cooperations that may arise in the course of time at different places, the corresponding sections may maintain mutually contacts, as an associative network van producers, initiatives and companies. For example concerning research and policy directions there can be prevented in this way that the wheel must be invented each time over again. Moreover the ongoing formation of associations may lead through mutual exchange to a multiform production, and not so much to mere competition.
Within the cores of thus organised groups of workers can take place activities of renewed art and science, being carried by the economic en social bed. This can be geographically spread of character, and in this way paves the way to pluriformity of spiritual life.
In order to let live this social-organisational pulse also in broader circle within society and culture, out of the initiatives, producers and companies associated with Fjodor, there can arise an associatife network, which with reciprocal knowledge and acjknowledgements can form ad hoc-networks per project. To this belong also the donators who can make several developments possible. Fjodors task within het work cooperation described is the stimulation of research and the bringing out of its results, out of which an inner kernel of research, and ultimately the high school in three levels can arise, because it is being carried. Initially of course each Saturn division in a cooperation bond, which may arise anywhere, has the germ of such a college in itself, because research calls this forth in a natural way.
These social en organisational impulses therefore form een bed for the high school activities to be developed, and also ultimately the schooling building Widarhalla and socio-cultural and spiritual activities that may take place in it.

How does Fjodor work

In accordance with the threefoldedness of spiritual science, objective art and moral technique, behind which hide the three possibilities to the development of clairvoyance, clear feeling and clear willing, it is also possible for everyone to connect to Fjodor in a different manner.

If one wants to become confidential with the insights within Fjodor, there are publications, lectures and courses which are accessible for everyone. One buys a book, frequents a couse or a lecture, and goes his own way.

When one wants to deepen more intensively the artistic methods of work and research, follows longer current courses or takes part as well in projects, such as landscape healing, one indicates that one wants to come further in the development of where objective art stands for; to discover and develop the creating being within oneself, together with others, and wanting to do something with it in the world.
If one links oneself this way more with Fjodor, it is appreciated when there will be donated regularly to the foundation. The course fees can be kept as low as possible, and in this way one supports also the other projects within the foundation. One then receives the newsletter with all activities and the reports or the occupations. One becomes a donator for minimum € 25.– per year.

If one takes the education methods and texts to heart, which each have been grafted on seven divisions within man and within organisations (the social organism), one can connect oneself to the Movement for Full Man Gestation within the foundation, which tries to realise this sevenfoldedness within society through action, there where initiatives are being developed. One commits with ones will. To the inside there needs to be some protection there for the schooling and is methods and contents (a type of class protection; the methods have germes to the founding of the second and the third clas of the high school, connecting to the start of the new mysteries which have been founded in 1923, in Dornach, Switzerland by a group of people under the guidance of Rudolf Steiner). From those who want take this upon them, it is expected that they give an annual contribution of minimumof € 100.– (for vast employees this is optional). The monthly meetings (on an evening) in which the texts, music and movement which leads to education, can be visited, are then for free. They also receive aid and recommendations at their further inner steps (on appointment) of the work attendants. Other participants can attend only some of these meetings, whereupon they can choose to become a member or not.

Movement for Full Man’s Gestation

The one which becomes a member of this, tries to develop step by step the creative germs of the son of man slumbering within him. The schooling methods that are being offered are a help to this, and also the possibilities for founding sevenfolded cooperation bonds, in which through acting one can learn to know each other and also develop to one another. This contains among other things a number of social skills which can be developed with exercises to each other. There have been developed exercising methods to this.

That with the membership there arises some closing off, has to do with that the contents, which descend from the area of the spirit, have to be honoured and carried by the members, which can guarantee a certain protection, on the other side that the contents of moral techniques which heve been or are being developed and will be disposable to the members, do not need to be comprehensible to each man, and therefore can better not be accessible, because in spite of that everyone can learn to develop the qualities from out of oneself, there nevertheless can be made easily abuse of particularly ethertechnical possibilities. During the inner development there will be worked more and more with and from the earth flowing life forces, which are being called the life tree in the bible, kundalini energy in indian esoterics. Using of this brings along some risk, and can occur at best under supervision.

With membership there will be given supervision on an individual base by the appointed persons.
